I think Biden will be an asset to the Obama Administration. His experience will be a great aid in advising Obama and his credentials are fantastic. This will be a good team. It will be interesting to see Obama's Cabinet, I am willing to bet General(R) Clark will be the Secy of State, and will follow the lead that George Marshall set during Truman's presidency.

Biden is a terrible choice. Didn't anybody hear him talk about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on C-Span. He's ready to bulldoze the Gazans into the sea. He wants to ratchet up the confrontation with the "Soviet Union" (his words). He's a hawk if anyone can decipher his garbles speech. He has a terrible environmental record and is pro-bank and pro-chemical industry. The Zogby poll said that he would be a net negative. The only reason that I can think of to pick Biden is that Obama felt that he needed to kiss AIPAC's *** one more time.

His son is headngf oIrq. 'll bet he'll provide body armor and vet.s benefits. and think long and hard about why they are there (oil, drugs, Zionist neocon deceptions)
and be very careful about starting new war theaters.

Hi just watched the Springfield event:
Biden's comparaision of McCain's policies to Bush's policies was devestating, completely repudiating his previous comments about McCain. The Video clips of Mccain make hm look like a TURTLE while Biden looks like a SEEGULL..........
Glad to have him on board!

Cheers for Barack Obama on a great choice. Joe Biden has Democratic Party and Middle Class values which need to be revitalized with needed change from Big Oil and Exon John McBush.

Everyone should have known that Biden was Obama's choice when those russian planes were shot down, and russia invaded. Bayh and Kaine werent bad choices, but neither had enough foreign policy experience. Thanks to Putin, Biden became the ideal choice.

Biden: an important AIPAC asset & shill for the banks & credit card companies.
A weak choice that will not bring in extra votes, all the jabber about Biden's Irish-Catholic working class appeal notwithstanding.
Biden isn't remotely indicative of substantive, or even stylistic, change.
Moreover, he's on the record as preferring McCain to Obama.
Alas, bigots won't vote for Obama no matter who his vp choice is.

Guess we Christians will have to get used to the phoney kow-tows towards Mecca and Rome

I did not consider Biden in the primaries because of his support for the Bush bankruptacy bill and his pro war vote.. He has apologized... Still, four more years of McBush will be cause to stick a fork in the US and pronounce it dead. The whole thing will be , who can take on McCain's lies, dirty ads and distortions... If Biden is up to it, then we are well served.
