Linda Darling-Hammond is Professor Emeritus at Stanford University and President of the Learning Policy Institute. She is co-editor of the 2016 book, Global Education Reform: an examination of the effects of education privatization policies around the world. She previously served as the leader of President Obama's education policy transition team.
