Like Arundhati Roy, I'm going to add Ms. Crossettte to my list of logical and informational list of reads. I started reading the article with admittedly some misgivings--"another American auto basher"--instead, the article is pleasantly informative. I think that the problem may also be that Americans, no matter how well trained, are globally parochial and arrogant. This appears to be changing, if our present political and generational shift is any indication.
