    Please join us for an evening with Hanan Awwad, a Palestinian poet and President of the Palestine Branch of Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. Awwad was also instrumental in creating a Palestine Centre of PEN, the international writers' union. Dr. Awwad is a fervent advocate of Palestinian independence as well as a scholar, writer and poet.
