The Nation's Washington Editor Chris Hayes visits The Rachel Maddow Show to talk about the recent actions of Congressman Pete Hokestra, the top ranking republican official on the House Intelligence Commitee. Recently, Hokestra told the press that the Fort Hood shooter, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, sent and received email from a radical cleric in Yemen. In disclosing information about what should be a private investigation, Hokestra is attempting to garnar attention in the wake of an upcoming election in Michigan. Hayes suggests that Hokestra should listen to some of the wise words of the president and "know what he [is] talking about before he opens his mouth."
