Conan O'Brien, on The Tonight Show, decides that Sarah Palin's farewell speech has just been misunderstood, and so to give it the proper respect and gravitas, he invites "master thespian" William Shatner, accompanied by bongo drums, to perform the speech as a poem. Suddenly lines like "North to the future" sound a whole lot less silly.
