The Nation's Katrina vanden Heuvel takes on Dan Abrams on MSNBC over his new site GossipCop.com. Instead of policing the gossip industry, vanden Heuvel notes, the media should be policing the government and keeping track of its untruths. She calls Abrams and others like him out on their blurring of the line between information and entertainment, and says that that is what is really causing the crisis of confidence in today's media.
