Sotomayor Hearings: White Men Can't Judge

By The Daily Show

The Daily Show takes on the absurdity of the Senate confirmation hearings for Judge Sonia Sotomayor, deflating the pomposity of senators from both parties. Host Jon Stewart skewers Rush Limbaugh and others who've referred to Sotomayor as a racist, mocks the self-indulgent condescension from senators who explain in tedious detail why the confirmation hearings (and thus, themselves) are so important, and takes a moment to note the arrival of now-Senator Al Franken by citing his time on Saturday Night Live. Even Sotomayor herself gets a bit of ribbing from Stewart.
