Will Palin Still Run for President in 2012?

Sarah Palin's resignation from the governorship of Alaska came as a shock, but Nation Washington correspondent John Nichols thinks she's still well-placed for a presidential run. Nichols talks to Ed Schultz of MSNBC's The Ed Show about the possibilities for Palin, noting that 72% of Republicans said they would vote for her in 2012 even after her erratic press conference. Palin's popularity with the base will help her raise funds, and, Nichols points out, the Republicans don't exactly have a lot of well-known faces that haven't had a public meltdown.
