As the US House of Representatives is about to determine the fate of the FY2009 Supplemental Appropriations bill, Robert Greenwald, founder and president of Brave New Films, encourages Californians to participate in the decision-making process. "Democracy is not a spectator sport," concludes Greenwald as he asks the viewers to contact their representatives and say no to the supplemental bill for wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Greenwald, an avid political activist in film, has collaborated with The Nation over the production of "This Brave Nation," an acclaimed documentary on the dialogue between several progressive activists.
