Jon Stewart on Obama, McCain's 'Word War II'

Although Jon Stewart lampooned both presidential candidate's performances at the debate this week, he made it clear that John McCain's underwhelming performance was the comic gold mine of the night. Stewart waited with baited breath for McCain's so-called "gloves coming off" moment, but found that the Republican candidate's attempts to get tough were as soft and jiggly as...the Arizona senator's analogy about how understanding Obama's tax plan was like "trying to nail jello to a wall." Some of McCain's actions during the debate bordered on bizarre, and Stewart could not help but highlight McCain's strange habit of wandering aimlessly on stage while Barack Obama talked. This, coupled with McCain's rambling statements about catching Osama bin Laden ("I'll get Osama bin Laden my friends! I'll get him. I know how to get him. I'll get him no matter what. And I know how to do it."), caused Stewart scream at the meandering Senator's mug "When were you planning on telling us?!"
