Palin: Energy Expert or Billy Madison?

At a town hall meeting earlier this month Sarah Palin fumbled a softball question on oil production. Palin, who John McCain has called a leading "expert" on energy issues, made bizarre statements like "they don't flag the molecules, where its going and where it's not", and seemed completely flustered as she tried to answer the simple policy question. The moment was reminiscent of the end of the film Billy Madison, when Billy is told: "At no point in your rambling incoherent response did you even get close to anything that could be considered a rational thought."
