Letterman Slams McCain's 'Suspension'

David Letterman, later joined by Keith Olbermann, has a field day ridiculing John McCain's absurd decision to "suspend" his campaign to address the financial crisis. "This smells," Letterman remarked, "someone must have put something in his Metamucil." After recounting how McCain canceled his appearance on tonight's show in order to "save the country", Letterman discovers that McCain is in fact being interviewed by Katie Couric right down the street!
