On last Friday's edition of Countdown with Keith Olbermann, an analysis of the shocking confirmation that the government of the United States has used private media as a propaganda outlet. According to former Bush Administration press secretary Scott McClellan, Fox News pundits have been offering no attribution while disseminating talking points provided to them directly by government officials. In a probing discussion of the White House capo-turned-informant's revelations, Olbermann and Air America host Rachel Maddow tear off once-and-for-all the "fig leaf" of fairness and integrity clinging to the network and the administration's naked alliance.
