Naomi Klein debunks Bush's offshore drilling plan on Fox Business News' Happy Hour Program.

Fox Business News invited Naomi Klein to discuss the concept of "disaster capitalism" and how it applies to today's widespread oil crisis. Klein argues that the Bush administration has once again used a crisis to their own advantage, instead of to the country's advantage by claiming that "unless you give us Anwar, you'll never drive again." Sky high oil prices seem to have pushed people so far to the edge of desperation they are willing to buy anything they're told will solve their problems, even if what they're being sold is hardly an effective long-term solution. Klein explains that the real crisis today is climate change and the monopolization of big oil and calls for the government and oil companies to start building an infrastructure that will support diverse alternative energy.
