Zephyr Teachout

Zephyr Teachout teaches Election Law at Duke University School of Law. She is the former National Director of the Sunlight Foundation, Director of Online Organizing for Howard Dean's Campaign, and Researcher at the Center for Investigative Journalism in Bosnia-Herzogovenia. She also co-founded the Fair Trial Initiative, a North Carolina nonprofit dedicated to training young lawyers to be capital defense attorneys, and has been involved in local and national politics for over a decade. Her book "Mousepads, Shoeleather and Hope" (co-edited with Tom Streeter) was published by Paradigm Press last year.
