RedditNow that President Obama's speech to school kids has proved not to be the Maoist indoctrination tool that the right absolutely knew it would be, it's time for the rest of us to start facing down the next big, media-fanned psychokiller fantasy. But what will it be?
It beggars the imagination: As Condi Rice said about planes deliberately crashing into the World Trade Center, who could have imagined that the president of the United States would be attacked for telling kids to stay in school and believe in themselves? Or that he'd be accused of wanting to euthanize America's grannies, or of being born in Kenya, which would, after all, make his presidency illegal?
It takes a lively paranoia, a financial stake, and/or a belief that a black man has no right to order white folks around to come up with such outlandish fabrications. But if any of you can tap your inner John Bircher, please share your crazed thoughts: What will be the right's next big Obama conspiracy theory?
That the government plans to tattoo the presidential seal on the soles of the feet of all gun-owning Christians? That Obama supported the switch from analog to digital TV because government scientists had placed interlocutor rays in every conversion box that would darken white people's skin (and don't Republicans have proof of this in John Boehner, who's been used as a guinea pig in these diabolical experiments)? Or might it be that the failure to maintain a balanced diet will become a felony, punishable by forced labor on the construction of a massive food pyramid somewhere in central Illinois?

In fact with a couple mouse clicks you can find good old Brian Williams and all the rest of them doing this with the list, from racist, to Muslim, to birther, to death panelist, to school kid indoctrinator.

1. I've said before, I don't hate anyone. I disagree with someone's beliefs, but I've never hated anyone.
2. While I certainly admit and maintain that this late 20th, early 21st century form of European liberalism adopted by the left is evidence of a mental disease or at least a cognitive disability, I don't believe that most leftists are engaged in kook conspiracy theories.
Ms Savan on the other hand takes the attitude shared by some of our resident bloggers that all conservatives share in the dumbest conspiracy theories that float out there.

A little off topic here, but I just heard Sarcozy will begin taxing businesses and individuals in France for using fuels that create excess carbons.
The man is an idiot. Fortunately for the world France doesn't matter so much anymore. Two things will happen here:
The company's will reduce production to avoid the tax, or leave, thereby creating a reduction in the wealth and economic health of the country as a whole, OR
Everyone will simply pay the tax and absorb the costs and increases in their bills, and continue on, in which case NOTHING will be achieved towards reducing global warming.
A better idea would be to, oh I dunno, FIND ANOTHER SOURCE OF FUEL FIRST! Where's the damn innovation? As one entreprenurial type said here once, "The Internet didn't take off because the Government initiated a tax on typewriters." Sad thing is, after his country collapses from his foolishness, Sarcozy will probably come to us looking for a loan. That is, if we havn't gone stupid by then too. ct

Obama stated that he instructed the Secretary of Health to investigate and experiment with cases of controlling malpractice suites in several states. He directly referenced the Republican side of the house. This was a blatant attack on Republican ideals with the obvious goal being to infiltrate the groups attempting to organize demonstration projects in order to identify them for political cleansing. He stated this will target individual states, and earlier mentioned Alabama as an individual state. It is clear that his orders to attack Republican health care reform activists will focus on the Bible Belt of this great nation under God. Once these good Christians, working for proper, godly health reform, have been eradicated, there will be nothing standing in the path of his communist agenda. The identified conservatives will most likely be placed on a list to be reviewed by Obama's government death panels. This will allow the socialist Obama administration to reduce the older white population and political leadership in the south to eventually establish a regional fiefdom for leftist Islamic African American extremists, bent on the fascist totalitarian subjugation of the descendants of white, Protestant America.

Why doesn't reform/change start at home, first? Would it be possible, if the electorial process (in your own backyard) was reformed/changed, then healthcare reform/change might not be such a major undertaking? I'm just a working stiff (neither poor, nor rich), but firmly believe that this great country can't be all that bad (even before change), considering all the immigrants residing here! That, in itself, should gauge this country's worth! Also, after reveiwing www.opensecrets.org, hard to believe that the controversial reform to healthcare will actually come to term, regardless of the next 'conspiracy theory', since the health professional industry was the sixth top political contributor, and what was the number one political contributor, yep, lawyers/law firms. Can ya 'bite' the hand that brought ya to the dance? I doubt it. Conspiracy theory, or not, it's the guy in the middle that will be asked to bend over, when it's all said and done. Next republican theory: Ted Kennedy asked Pres. Obama to bring back the swine flu virus on his trip to Europe last summer in order to infect Americans, especially Republicans. The goal is to scare everyone into passing their public option health care plan. Pres. Obama brought back two forms of the virus. Pres. Obama will give the deadliest one to anyone who doesn't vote or support his and Kennedy's health care reform. That is the best I can do... The Left and especially readers of The Nation are the very heart and sole of paranoid conspiracy country. Half of you guys here still think the CIA and Mossad staged 9/11. You still believe that Oswald was framed and Ruby was a govt plant, and that the Israelis kill Palestinian kids for body parts.
For you to shudder in amazement and contempt at some screwballs who distrust everything Obama does, is riduculous.
And it is not as if Obama is such a tower of virtue and incapable of low and devious moves. He made Jeremiah Wright his mentor and spiritual guide, sat in his pews for 20 years. When Hillary's video's showed that this family friend for most of his adult life hated whitey, America and Jews and adored Farrakhan, Obama claimed astonishment and outrage.
And just last week he pretended never to really have known the views of a man he crowned a czar and had quartered in his West Wing. When it turned out this racist and Marxist produced and even appeard on rap albums that pretty much picked up where Wright's video stopped Obama pulled the covers over his face and was deep asleep.

And innovations in green technology won't be far behind. The French, after all, believe in investing public money in this stuff. Much more so than US-Americans, who believe that kind of thing is a communist plot.
The Germans also believe in public investments in green technology. As we speak, they're drawing up plans to build solar panels in the Sahara. Even though we have the entire arid Southwest in our own backyard, the Germans, who have to negotiate with North African monarchs, may be the first to realize the full potential of solar energy.

But unfortunately, you just can't out-crazy these people. Really, you can't.
check out http://www.obamadeception.net/ to see what is being said. A bank of the world with its own army? nation-wide enslavement in prison camps?
I know - we like to think that we could figure out how they think these things up, so we could respond more effectively. But there are some really frightening levels of hatred and delusion out there that we cannot wrap our minds around.
At least I can't see how anyone could be any more detached from reality or more outrageous than this.

Then, when her husband was elected a U.S. Senator, she was inexplicably given a raise to $350,000 a year. Clearly an important job, given that a surgeon MIGHT make that much at the hospital. Then when she leaves to move to Washington, the hospital decides not to fill that vitally needed $350,000-a-year position with a replacement.
The conspiracy being that it was obviously a way to funnel cash to the couple with a veneer of legitimacy. And nobody in the mainstream press will ever ask them about it in public.

Actually, the Germans are already behind us in our current projects We actually have larger solar projects in Nevada, California, Arizona, and Texas.
the Sempra Solar energy plant near Boulder City which is currently the 4th largest is expanding it's current capacity and next year will be larger than Germany's.
But the real monster facilities are in construction in Arizona and California. These are 5-7 times the size of the German project.
All the US projects are scheduled to be operational by 2010 and 2011.

Seems there are still some 'fans' of the last administration that feel the need to cover some tracks... and distractions like this are double serving to a complacent populace...
Funny that... 1. Obama wants to open up trade and normalize relations with Raul Castro so that gobs of Cubans can migrate to Florida and make it a solid Democrat victory in future elections.
2. Obama is really fighting the war against the Taliban because he wants control of the opium fields, to support an alliance with organized crime to sell heroin and get campaign donations from them.
3. Obama's mother, as part of her humanitarian aid to Indonesians, taught up-and-coming Muslim terrorists how to set up cottage industries that build roadside bombs.

As testimony to his communist leanings, our President Obama has worked out an arrangement with Russian Federation President, Dmitry Medvedev, by which we get the loan of Lenin's embalmed body. The next wild accusation by the exclusionist Republican party willl be that President Obama is a double agent for Al-Qaeda. They will say that the president is a double agent and reporting his devious plan for America to Osama Bin Laden. Obama is allowing the Vatican to stockpile weapons in the White House basement to be used in the coup in which the Catholics seize control of the US and itsa government...whoops, sorry, this one is 48 years out of date. Seriously, am I the only person who sees the similarity between the climate of hate and lies whipped up by the election of the first Catholic president and that surrounding the first African-American president? I think that the tone is being ratcheted up, so that it allows someone like a,Joe Wilson to esentially get away with telling the President that he lies! I think there is an underlying method to their madness! Anger with out accountability is increasing and becoming more the norm. This makes it all the more possible for President Obama to be either killed or injured..by a "racist"...but it will be condoned and planned by a "Cheney-esq" group.

As an actual socialist who finds accusations of Obama's socialist tendencies to be laughable, it's possible to pin anything on him. And it's quite clear that our President wakes up in the morning thinking up new ways to take away our freedoms.
(1) He's going to fluoridate the water. (2) He's going to require that car tires be made from rubber. (3) He will force, by government regulation, airline passengers to have their tray-tables stowed in the upright position for takeoff and landing. (4) Obama is sending government agents to require people to pay money to enter Federally-owned parklands. (5) Cereal makers will have to display the contents of the box under the penalty of law in Obama-world.

Well, I've heard that his ultimate goal in passing health care is to bankrupt the American government, so that he can sell it off to his home country of Kenya, who will be the only ones who will still WANT it by that time. And they only want it because they realize that they can make slaves of all white people, thus reversing all of those years of oppression. So I'm going to go out and buy all the rifles and shotguns that I can afford!

I remember Waco when they started playing the irritating music that everyone had to suffer along with the heat, the tension, and everyone was loaded to the teeth with weapons. I thought to myself, "this is certainly a recipe for bloodshed and probably death too." That was hardly wisdom. It was pretty obvious.
Now we're watching Fox Fake News slowly but surely turn into our own Rwanda Radio. We have front row seats. It's another recipe for bloodshed and this time, no doubt someone's deaths, probably many in the future. Another no brainer.
I hate to feel helpless so I almost never do. But I do these days. I damn sure do. Fox is a lot bigger than Waco.

His next move is to add a 20% tax to the very rich in order to dump trillions of dollars into the space program in order to build giant silver ships capable of transporting those same rich--and every rightwingnut in the country--into deep space. They will probably be returned straight away by intelligent alien races as quickly as a good parent returns a lead lined children's toy. But it's worth a shot, eh?

It's already being whispered that Obama is preparing special 'camps' for political dissidents who don't agree with his agenda. No doubt, these dissidents will be snatched up by Obama's agents and transported to the camps in black helicopters. Once there, the patriotic dissident will be subjected to brainwashing and indoctrinated to the liberal agenda before they are released back into society. Those that refuse indoctrination, well, let's just say that they will be seen again.
