RedditMuch ado was made of McCain's Light on the Road to Damascus moment regarding Jerry Falwell, formerly known as an agent of intolerance, last week. But the story of unlikely bedfellows that fell through the cracks was Rudy Giuliani's snuggle with Ralph Reed, the ex-leader of the Christian Coalition and current candidate for lieutenant governor of Georgia.
Leaving aside that Giuliani is a pro-gay rights, pro-choice, pro-gun control, Italian-Catholic Yankee and Ralph Reed is not, the question remains: what was a tough-on-crime fighter doing promoting the candidacy of a man who was in business with Jack Abramoff? It was the indicted lobbyist, after all, who allegedly paid Reed $4.2 million in illegal contributions to "mobilize Christian voters against casinos that would compete with Abramoff's clients."
In his past life, Prosecutor Rudy would have paraded someone like Reed in handcuffs before a scrum of media cameras. In his current incarnation, Politician Rudy praised him "as a really effective leader" during a fundraiser for Reed's embattled campaign.
Perhaps Giuliani was referring to Reed's peerless effectiveness in duping evangelicals into voting for Republicans who do not share their values. If that was the case, Giuliani will need all the help from Reed he can get.

As with McCain, the "Rudy" Factor seems to be rising, as Republican fortunes are falling in the November 06 midterms.
If it turns out to be as bad as many think, the prospect of the Republicans turning to their two "Hero Politicians" (McCain and Guiliani) becomes more likely...and hence more necessary for them to be "taken out" (a la Ms vanden Heuval's article) as soon as possible.
Both score high across the political spectrum, and a McCain/Guiliani ticket....IF it would be swallowed by the Religious Right faction, would wipe clear the Bush taint from the GOP and score Congress for Republicans for another 4-6 years.

Until, of course, it becomes as plain to everyone else as it is to all too many people who lived through the Giuliani years that the man is yet another dose of megolomania and corruption from the so-called Republican party. And knowing Rudy, it won't take long.

I don't think it will be McCain/Gulli, but it will be McCain/ Allen maybe...someone to placate the conservatives....actually, what the Republicans party needs to save itself is to have Gore run...but Hillary should finish off Gore in the fight to the primaries...maybe they will joust in 06 to see whose campaign trail appearances supports and who hurts the candidates in the mid term..
Sweet may be right about Gulli in NY, but in the rest of the country he is still seen as a hero. What NY leftys think does not matter West of the Hudson and East of the Bay in SF.

There is the "mystery part" and no, it is not part of a 757 jet engine and never has been. Oops!
They are all jet engine components (past and present) on the A-3 Skywarrior twin-turbojet airplane and on older versions of the 737. The USAF only has a few of the A-3s left in operation and what was formerly Hughes Aircraft, now Raytheon, has a fleet of them at Van Nuys, Calif. This type of turbojet engine has never been used on a Boeing 757, so the debate on "type of plane" can end there. This is a jet engine component with fan, not an auxiliary power unit (APU) as some have speculated or dropped into the conversation as disinformation.
What has been interesting is the level of "content blocking" that there is on the Internet where specific information regarding certain "jet engine components" such as those shown at the Pentagon have definitely been blocked. Our team had to take steps to go around the content blocks to get at the photos you are seeing regarding these rotor hub components.
The above photo is a launch of an AIM-54 Phoenix Missile, air-to-air missile. Making this launch an air-to-surface missile would not be a great feat and Hughes/Raytheon manufactures several such missiles that would blow a 16-foot diameter hole in the Pentagon with ease.

Missing Trillions Rumsfeld Buries Admission of Missing 2+ Trillion Dollars in 9/10/01 Press Conference
On September 10, 2001, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld held a press conference to disclose that over $2,000,000,000,000 in Pentagon funds could not be accounted for. Rumsfeld stated: "According to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions."
Such a disclosure normally would have sparked a huge scandal. However, the commencement of the attack on New York City and Washington in the morning would assure that the story remained buried. To the trillions already missing from the coffers, an obedient Congress terrorized by anthrax attacks would add billions more in appropriations to fight the "War on Terror."
The Comptroller of the Pentagon at the time of the attack was Dov Zakheim, who was appointed in May of 2001. Before becoming the Pentagon's money-manager, he was an executive at System Planning Corporation, a defense contractor specializing in electronic warfare technologies including remote-controlled aircraft systems. Zakheim is a member of the Project for a New American Century and participated in the creation of its 2000 position paper Rebuilding America's Defenses which called for "a New Pearl Harbor."

His company (Sysplan) made the technology (Flight Termination System) that was utilized on 9/11 to guide planes to their targets.
Flight 77 was shadowed (within just a few feet) on 9/11 enroute to the Pentagon by a Raytheon A-3 Skywarrior powered by a Thiokol motor and equipped with bombs.
When you see the new video of the Pentagon attack - the white smoke is from the Thiokol motor of the A-3. NO 757 hit the Pentagon. Period.
AA flight 77 crashed short of the Pentagon in Virginia and was quietly cleaned up. The A-3 continued the mission and THAT is what you see slamming into the Pentagon.
Nearly EVERYONE in the Pentagon and the White House and the Congress know this to be true.

It was this collaborative approach that led Jon and I to conclude that no 757 hit the Pentagon so we looked for alternatives. The only plane that made sense was either a 737 or an A3 Skywarrior, both of which can use the same types of jet engines up to a point.
The wing span of most 737 jets fall into the range of between 93.0 ft and 112.6 ft which is still 19 feet to 38 feet of wing that cannot be accounted for in impacting the face of the Pentagon before it mysteriously disappeared. When the absence of surface impacts and the size of a 737 including height of the tail are weighed, it is probable that a smaller plane was used to affect the attack on the Pentagon.
I defy anyone to find an A3 Skywarrior in the hands of any Arab terrorist on 9-11 or any other day. There are only three sources of those jets: 1.) a few (3 to 6) remaining in USAF inventory; or 2.) Davis Monthan AFB where many jets are stored due to lack of humidity; or 3.) the fleet of 12-15 once owned by Hughes and now controlled by Raytheon after that corporation acquired Hughes.
Jon Carlson and I are convinced that the plane used to attack the Pentagon is an old USAF / Navy plane designated as the A3 Skywarrior.
The wingspan of an A3 is 74 feet and in the Navy version the wings were designed to fold up for storage on an aircraft carrier (visible on the drawing above). At a distance, painted like an American Airlines plane, this plane would easily be mistaken for a 737, 757, 767 type of aircraft because the two engines hang under the wing but are of far smaller dimensions than the 9 foot diameter jets on a 757 that not only hang under the wing but also hang lower than the bottom of the fuselage.
That is an important point because there were no marks on the Pentagon lawn of those two jet engines dragging the ground and they would have based on how low the Pentagon was hit. Said another way, forget about the fuselage dragging on the ground. The engines of a 757 would have been plowing the Pentagon lawn but that did not happen.
The wingspan of a 757 is 124 feet 10 inches. The width of the overall opening, even what is visible as possible wing marks slamming into the face of the building is closer to 74 feet than it is 124 feet 10 inches. In short, there is 50 feet missing to substantiate the Official Lie put out by Washington, DC as to what hit the Pentagon. Said another way, there is 25 feet on each side of the centerline of the strike point (that 14-16 foot hole left in the side of the Pentagon) that left no evidence of a wider wing span 757 hitting the building.
They also cannot (or more appropriately will not) explain what happened to the two 9 foot diameter engines that mysteriously disappeared. Some official government sources claim that the fire was so hot it melted the engines to nothing, yet they claim they found DNA of the passengers. That math does not compute, or the science either.
I remember the first conversation I had with Karen Kwiatkowski, a retired Lieutenant Colonel who was in the Pentagon that day. She is the lady that went public about the Office of Special Plans where they were falsifying the intelligence regarding Iraq. She vividly remembers being downstairs and around the corner in about 10 minutes to help get people out and the FBI agents were at the CITGO station confiscating the video tapes of what hit the Pentagon.
Other eyewitnesses have stated that they smelled explosives such as cordite, not burning jet fuel. Those were military witnesses that know that exploded ordnance smells like.
What little video evidence there is does show a white trail of smoke before the Pentagon explosion. Jet fuel burns dark at sea level and jets do not leave white contrails at sea level. What does leave a white trail of smoke at all elevations is the solid fuel of a rocket, Thiokol in most rockets being the type of solid fuel.

Dov Zakheim was the Pentagon's comptroller and CFO during 9/11. Over $3 trillion is unaccounted for during his tenure. He was (is?) Corporate VP at System Planning Corporation, a major player in the "Homeland Security" industry. One of the products that SysPlan sells is the Command Transmitter System, a remote control system for planes, boats, missiles and other vehicles2 . It's highly customable and configurable to interface with an almost limitless number of vehicle types.
The CTS is a tunable UHF FM transmitter designed for ground use in controlling guided missiles, pilotless aircraft and pilotless boats.
Many takeoff and lending tests were performed using this system on a commercial size Boeing aircraft under the supervision of Raytheon in the days prior to 9/11.
If the pilot is not in direct control and another mechanism is controlling (not just receiving passive signals or sensing) the craft, especially from GPS, it is effectively 'remotely' controlled. The link between ground crews, GPS and aircraft have been established. It's not a cruise control and it's not a radio controlled toy car. We're talking FULL avionics AND navigation from take-off to touch down controlled and guided by a known and documented satellite link. "A fully integrated flight management computer system (FMCS) provides for automatic guidance and control of the 757-200 from immediately after takeoff to final approach and landing. Linking together digital processors controlling navigation, guidance and engine thrust, the flight management system assures that the aircraft flies the most efficient route and flight profile for reduced fuel consumption, flight time and crew workload. The precision of global positioning satellite (GPS) system navigation, automated air traffic control functions, and advanced guidance and communications features are now available as part of the new Future Air Navigation System (FANS) flight management computer." This technology could effectively PREVENT the hijack of aircraft. Any deviation from the course would trigger the system and someone would know about it. We're working to verify if American Airlines does have this technology installed in any of its fleet. Suppose they do have this technology installed... Why not key in a coordinate or code to have a hijacked aircraft automatically land at a predesignated, properly prepared airfield prepped for such eventualities. I can only assume that our "planners" do indeed think in terms of hostile contingencies and have this scenario worked out. This all begs the questions: why wasn't this critical technology used, or was it abused?

Americans (too many) do not know that Raytheon executives were killed on 9-11, or at least wound up permanently missing, which may be a more accurate way of saying it. It is who wound up missing that is most interesting.

That 16 foot tunnel through three rings of the Pentagon is only made by a directional blast weapon. Rumsfeld has even slipped up and mentioned the missile that hit the Pentagon.
Some have seen the Pentagon parking lot camera video and the white trail of smoke. Jets do now leave white trails of smoke at sea level, but Thiokol powered AGMs do, at all attitudes.
A Real 9-11 Commission should have certain Hughes and Raytheon parties summoned for questioning.

Atta was sitting in seat 8D. In front of him were the two brothers, Wael and Walid Al-Shihri. Behind him was his comrade in his final days, 'Abd Al-'Aziz Al-'Omari. To Al-'Omari's left was the Israeli Mossad agent, Daniel Lewin, and right behind him, the man who would kill him, Sattam Al-Suqami.
In those exact moments, a group of Mossad agents were waiting in Manhattan for the first plane. They had surveillance and filming equipment with them. Meanwhile, F-15 planes were on high alert in Otis air base, 150 miles away, not knowing in which direction to fly.
It is noteworthy that in those moments, the Mossad agents here, according to eye-witnesses, were dancing and cheering in front of the WTC. The Israelis were arrested in New York. Later, they were moved to Washington, and from there to Israel, and the report was quickly suppressed.

On 9/11:
The five men -- Sivan and Paul Kurzberg, Oded Ellner, Omer Marmari and Yaron Shmuel -- were arrested eight hours after the attacks by the Bergen County, N.J., police while driving in an Urban Moving Systems van.
The Forward, a respected Jewish newspaper in New York, reported the FBI concluded that two of the men were Israeli intelligence operatives.
Vince Cannistraro, a former chief of operations for counterterrorism with the CIA who is now a consultant for ABCNEWS, said federal authorities' interest in the case was heightened when some of the men's names were found in a search of a national intelligence database.
Israeli Intelligence Connection?
According to Cannistraro, many people in the U.S. intelligence community believed that some of the men arrested were working for Israeli intelligence. Cannistraro said there was speculation as to whether Urban Moving had been "set up or exploited for the purpose of launching an intelligence operation against radical Islamists in the area, particularly in the New Jersey-New York area."
According to ABC's 20/20, when the van belonging to the cheering Israelis was stopped by the police, the driver of the van, Sivan Kurzberg, told the officers:
"We are Israelis. We are not your problem. Your problems are our problems. The Palestinians are your problem."
The FBI seized and developed their photos, one of which shows Sivan Kurzberg flicking a cigarette lighter in front of the smouldering ruins in an apparently celebratory gesture.
The Jerusalem Post later reported that a white van with a bomb was stopped as it approached the George Washington Bridge, but the ethnicity of the suspects was not revealed. Here's what the Jerusalem Post reported on September 12, 2001:
American security services overnight stopped a car bomb on the George Washington Bridge. The van, packed with explosives, was stopped on an approach ramp to the bridge. Authorities suspect the terrorists intended to blow up the main crossing between New Jersey and New York, Army Radio reported.
TCM Breaking News reported that the van was laden down with tonnes of explosives (13).
What's really intriguing is that ABC's 20/20, the New York Post, and the New Jersey Bergen Record all clearly and unambiguously reported that a white van with Israelis was intercepted on a ramp near Route 3, which leads directly to the Lincoln Tunnel.
But the Jerusalem Post, Israeli National News (Arutz Sheva), and Yediot America, all reported, just as clearly and unambiguously, that a white van with Israelis was stopped on a ramp leading to the George Washington Bridge, which is several miles north of the Lincoln Tunnel.
It appears as if there may actually have been two white vans involved, one stopped on each crossing.
It was later confirmed that the five detained Israelis were in fact Mossad agents. They were held in custody for 71 days before being quietly released. Some of the movers had been kept in solitary confinement for 40 days.
Several of the detainees discussed their experience in America on an Israeli talk show after their return home.
Said one of the men, denying that they were laughing or happy on the morning of Sept. 11, "The fact of the matter is we are coming from a country that experiences terror daily. Our purpose was to document the event."

They can buy ANYONE to do ANYTHING.
Israel has all US phones tapped to enable blackmail in the event bribery doesn't work.

Tommy and Cathy Franks confirmed this week that they have settled on Harbour Island after zeroing in on South Tampa. They were due to close on a home Friday, Cathy Franks said.
Cathy Franks said security on the island clinched the decision.
And they are not alone. The Franks family joins a host of Tampa Bay sports and political celebrities.
The roll call includes Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back John Lynch, his teammate Kenyatta Walker, their bosses Bryan and Joel Glazer, former Buc Chidi Ahanotu and current Tampa Bay Lightning hockey player Vinny Lecavalier.

Sources have told CNN that Franks, the man who would lead U.S. forces in the event of a military strike on Iraq, faces several allegations -- including one that he allowed his wife, Cathy, to be present during discussions of highly classified material.
The sources also said questions have been raised about whether Franks properly repaid the U.S. government for his wife's travel on military aircraft.
Franks, the head of U.S. Central Command, has been under investigation for weeks by the Pentagon inspector general's office.
"I am aware of the investigation and am cooperating with it," Franks said in a brief written statement. "It would not be appropriate to comment on the investigation until it is complete."
U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld -- who would decide what, if any, disciplinary action Franks would face if any wrongdoing is found -- has taken the unusual step of expressing support for the general before the investigation was completed.

One company reported to be under investigation is Comverse Infosys, a subsidiary of an Israeli-run private telecommunications firm. Comverse provides almost all the wiretapping equipment and software for U.S. law enforcement.
Custom computers and software made by Comverse are tied into the U.S. phone network in order to intercept, record and store wiretapped calls, and at the same time transmit them to investigators.
The penetration of Comverse reportedly allowed criminals to wiretap law enforcement communications in reverse and foil authorized wiretaps with advance warning. One major drug bust operation planned by the Los Angeles police was foiled by what now appear to be reverse wiretaps placed on law enforcement phones by the criminal spy ring.

Canada's National Post retracts report that Iranian Jews will be forced to wear yellow patches By Yossi Melman
For a few hours on Friday, many around the world were ready to believe a report in the media that Iran had decided that Jews living there would be forced to wear a yellow strip of material on their clothing to denote their religion.
Leaders of international Jewish organizations were quick to respond, and likened the decision to the Nuremberg Laws of Nazi Germany.
The affair was sparked by a report Friday in Canada's National Post daily. According to the report, exiled Iranians had said that Jews in Iran (some 25,000 individuals) would be required to wear a yellow strip of material or yellow star on their clothing.
Members of other faiths, the report said, would also require color identification - red badges for Christians and blue strips of cloth for Zoroastrians.
As expected, the report was met with rage among human rights groups, and Jewish organizations in particular.
Canadian Jewish Congress chairman Bernie Farber saying he was "stunned" by the report on the Iranian law.
"We thought this had gone the way of the dodo bird, but clearly in Iran everything old and bad is new again," Farber said. "It's state-sponsored religious discrimination."
Rabbi Marvin Hier, the executive president of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, was also quick to respond, and called on the UN secretary general to exert pressure to get the law abolished.

Several experts are casting doubt on reports that Iran had passed a law requiring the country's Jews and other religious minorities to wear coloured badges identifying them as non-Muslims.
The Iranian embassy in Otttawa also denied the Iranian government had passed such a law.
A news story and column by Iranian-born analyst Amir Taheri in yesterday's National Post reported that the Iranian parliament had passed a sweeping new law this week outlining proper dress for Iran's majority Muslims, including an order for Jews, Christians and Zoroastrians to wear special strips of cloth.
According to the reports, Jews were to wear yellow cloth strips, called zonnar, while Christians were to wear red and Zoroastrians blue. The Simon Wiesenthal Center and Iranian expatriates living in Canada had confirmed the order had been passed, although it still had to be approved by Iran's "Supreme Guide" Ali Khamenehi before being put into effect.
Hormoz Ghahremani, a spokesman for the Iranian embassy in Ottawa, said in an e-mail to the Post yesterday, "We wish to categorically reject the news item.
"These kinds of slanderous accusations are part of a smear campaign against Iran by vested interests, which needs to be denounced at every step."
Sam Kermanian, of the U.S.-based Iranian-American Jewish Federation, said in an interview from Los Angeles that he had contacted members of the Jewish community in Iran -- including the lone Jewish member of the Iranian parliament.
They denied any such measure was in place.

What hit the Pentagon?
NOT a Boeing 757.
It was a Navy Jet owned by Raytheon (formerly Hughes), painted in the colors of American Airlines and loaded with high explosives (Defense experts on the scene smelled high explosives).
It was launched from Hunter AFB in South Carolina under the direction of the CIA & DEA.
It intercepted and "shadowed" American flight 77 in order to create the appearance of a single radar signature.

Weather"...and so, would LOVE to know where American #77 "really" crashed...was NOT seen by dozens, even hundreds of Virginians, and how the site (which would cover many acres of land, given the impact of an airliner) was re-seeded with grass and trees.

I read your posts. An item I have difficulty with, however: If EVERYONE in Washington and the Pentagon knows 9/11 was an inside job, how come no insiders have leaked the truth? Week after week, something is leaked from the government (be it on NSA spying, illegal prisons, torture, phony WMD claims to justify Iraq, or the CIA leak investigation), yet NO high ranking insider has leaked anything related to 9/11 which support the alternative story? What are the chances that so many people can keep such a terrible secret?

The "AA-77 didn't hit the Pentagon" conspiracy theory is THE one with the most holes in it. They (the conspiracy theorists) will endlessly discuss "hole in the Pentagon size", "no video of crash itself", even "drone aircraft"....but NEVER "what exactly happened to AA-77 then?"
They can't figure out how to "explain" that part of the theory? "Shot down out at sea"?---then they have to explain how it flew past D.C., over MILES of Maryland and Delaware and nobody saw it or picked it up on radar. "Crashed into a Virginia field and covered up"? (PLUNGER's)--then they have to explain WHERE in Virginia you can crash an airliner, and dozens, if not hundreds of people see it and how they are "quieted".

Your constant posts on the moral failings (from "not caring" to warmongering) by "conservatives" proves it. You don't LIKE to think of yourself as judgemental and even sanctimonious, but you are.
You've transposed your politics for THE superior morality, and any opposition to YOUR politics (i.e. conservatives and conservatism) is immoral!
