Americans Want to Keep Teachers, Cops and Firefighters on the Job
Fair is fair
Sure, Americans support teachers, cops, firefighters and other gov't workers. We just want them to pay their fare share of their health insurance, contribute as much to their retirement as do private sector workers and not be able to retire at age 55. This country is going broke one municipality, city and state at a time, and a big reason is the unreasonable benefits being racked up by government employees. It is not sustainable. Anything unsustainable collapses. I wonder if Illinois will follow the lead of its two neighbors Wisconsin and Indiana. The Illinois government is close to collapse, and it will be no one’s fault but their own when it finally does.
