Midterm elections

The basic problem for the Democrats is they paid too much attention to Wall Street and not enough attention to Main Street. Main Street produces the goods, and the wages of ordinary people support the consumer-driven market. No jobs, no market, and no one makes any money. If Republican's do win the election, we will see more austerity budgets designed to drive down wages, attack pensions and create more unemployment. The objectives of the economic elites is to create a two-class structure consisting of the very wealthy and the working poor! However, the net effect is the destruction of those economies that subscribe to "free trade" and a worldwide depression.
