Live-blogging OWS daily since October 1.  Email: epic1934@aol.com. All times ET.   See my e-book on Occupy "40 Days That Shook the World."  My OWS-relevant "Journeys With Beethoven" just published in print and as e-book, my other books here...

3:30  Second stabbing of Occupyer outside Federal Reserve last night.  We had just reported a Sunday night stabbing (see below).  Again the assailant--who seems to be a 9/11 "truther"-- escaped.  Victim expected to survive.

3:25  Worker ownership for the 21st Century....

2:40 Jeffrey Toobin: Looks like Affordable Health Care act will be struck down by court ....Breaking:  Lead investigator wanted manslaughter charge the night of Trayvon's shooting, was overruled.

12:45 Tommy Christopher debunks wacky rightwing attempts to prove "media conspiracy" in handling of Trayvon case.

12:10 Just posted:  Occupy Festival in Chicago postponed after much criticism from OWSers. "These are some of the changes that will be made moving forward with more to come: 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Occupy movement; Ticket prices will be significantly reduced; The name will most likely change to something other than Occupy Festival."

11:50  The Dowser with another review of past few months of OWS and look ahead and how to get involved.

10:30  Booked on Lawrence O'Donnell's show tonight: Charles M. Blow and former newsman (and friend of Trayvon gunman) Joe Oliver... Always happy to link to Andrew Bacevich, here on Moyers show re: changing the military.

9:10  Unnamed young Occupyer stabbed in San Francisco outside Federal Reserve in protest, man who was not part of group runs off.  Victim, stabbed in chest,  expected to survive.  Dispute involved a camera at first.

8:20 Michelle Goldbrb on  "the smearing of Trayvon Martin"...Colbert tackles the case below.  Hoodie makes Trayvon a criminal like glasses make Geraldo a journalist:

8:15 Wall Street firms admit its their own fault for OWS growth and poor public perception of the Street. "The study also revealed that three in four (74%) believe that increased regulation of the financial services industry will help their firms improve reputations and trust with customers faster. Further, 81% are worried about negative public reaction to executive compensation in the industry."

7:55 My new book on the Bradley Manning case, with my former Nation intern Kevin Gosztola, just out as e-book tonighty, and then in print in about a week.  Titled "Truth and Consequences: The U.S. vs. Bradley Manning," it covers the saga right up to the court martial proceeding in recent months, right up to last week.

From late Monday

Apparently there's an ABC drama called "Castle" and a friend tells me they just showed a bomb going off at an OWS camp or protest.   Nothing like giving folks ideas...Here's the official plot summary:  "47 Seconds-- When a bomb explodes at a protest rally killing five people, Castle & Beckett realize the key to solving the case is to reconstruct the 47 seconds prior to the explosion. Using video and witness accounts, they uncover the shocking truth about who planted the bomb."

Allison Kilkenny suddenly reveals she is exiting In These Times.  Says she'll continue to write about Occupy here at The Nation and elswhere.

A lengthy Cryptome posting on OWW "General Strike"... Huff Post writer wants a new name for Occupy. Okay, we're listening.  But then she proposes a bad one:  "Justify Wall Street."

Watch amazing commercial for brokerage firm totally based on Occupy imagery.  Even advises: "Join the one percent!"

Katha Pollitt: Wisconsin legislators go after single mothers... Read it and weep: George Zimmerman's account to police on Trayvon shooting.
