    Know that mortgages and rents are just gilded debts for shelter. Maintain your dignity, steel your will, improve your mind and get back in the saddle, wiser and stronger than before. As Spinoza says, in the end of the day there is only ourselves, the naked individual, that exists.

    Those who scorn the homeless, who are tethered to a system rife with incompetence and malignity are in turn scorned by those whose policies and actions have heretofore been dedicated to making them homeless.

    Know thyself.
