  • I do not know how this is planned for GM, but the Philadelphia Inquirer for 6/7/09 reports that all existing product liability suits that have been pending against Chrysler are now as defunct as the "Old Chrysler" company. They have been summarily cancelled, which I regard as a travesty.

    Also, if you are involved in a serious accident due to malfunctioning of a vehicle from "Old Chrysler," then, from here on, there isn't even anyone to file a lawsuit against.

    Will this happen with Govt. Motors, too?
