  • A week or so ago, I watched a documentary based on the book The Take, which led me to this article. Actually, I was searching for more information regarding this subject and to see if there was possibly any like movements afoot in the US. Which seems like a great idea, but unfortunately, after doing some Internet research, I don't think it has caught on in this country. Personally, I think it might be just the thing to put jobs back into the hands of the people, where they belong.

With over a 20 percent unemployment rate and closed factories, Detroit seems like a great place for a grassroots movement of this kind.

I don't know what it will take to wake us up, but something needs to, before we are left standing in the rubble of what is left of our great country when we finally implode and the smoke has cleared.
