Look, this is old. Bush hid his funding and played numbers games with Americans. They will never know the real cost of the war under Bush. Now we have a man that tries to be up front, as he promised and he still gets slapped down.
When did we become a nation of ostriches? Someone always seems to be burying their head and shoving ours in the sand with them so we can't hear, see or speak.
I want the truth, after forty-five years! This country shows nothing but disrespect for Obama! How, you ask, with the numbers so high? Well, why aren't we pushing and backing him and writing Congress and screaming our heads off? I voted for him because I knew he was a good man. A miracle worker, not. I knew he would do the best he can and consult with those that he respected. I knew in the end, he would make the decisions. I knew the mess he was walking into that took years to get into, so expected years of work to get out of.
I swear, we act like uneducated children in a sandbox. This has nothing to do with Democrat or Republican but with my country, America. It has to do with my fellow citizens that are having such difficult times with no jobs and with families to support. It has to do with saving monies, getting out of a war that we should have never allowed, but we did! It has to do with a man, I believe, who will get out as fast as he can and change direction in the middle of a river if he has to. Iraq didn't do anything but irritate the hell out of us when Saddam opened his mouth. The war is immoral and, by my standards, illegal. I was raised by many veterans so don't get me wrong. This just isn't the war we should be in. They are overused and tired and will come back truly screwed up trying to deal with all the politics of this crap.
If nothing more, we do need equipment that will protect our kids in any war. We need top of the line products to save lives. I want us out more than most, as a past veterans service officer.
I can't make ends meet right now. However, I am willing to struggle to find the truth of our tax monies. Was against the bail out and now you can see the very reason I was. Ungrateful selfish self center SOBs, all of them that received TARP monies. Perhaps if the monies had gone to our troops and the war, they might be home by now. (Reality tells me no, but nice thought).
Let Obama keep the promise of an open government and the rest of Congress can go where it is very very hot with the rest of the politicians.
