  • On an issue where the majority of Democrats has a difference of opinion with the majority of Republicans, the proper venue to debate is in elections.

    Analyzing what Broder actually said in his columns shows that his belief is that the side effects of a "witch hunt" would only compound the problem.

    I do not believe that, if the issue were pushed, the Democratic partisan viewpoint would prevail on this question.

    Meanwhile, have you noticed how lame Pelosi's self-contraditing statements are about her briefing on the subject? Put her on trial first!
