  • I am an 81-year-old feminist. A card-carrying feminist, and never over the years have I heard or worked with women who have gone to other cultures and said, “Sorry, you can’t live like this anymore.”

We did and do work with women from around the world who were trying to alleviate human suffering from their lives and the lives of their children.

We challenge traditional values in our own countries, where oppression and discrimination exist. We work with women around the world who are doing the same in their own countries. The feminist perspective has always been about rights and justice.
