  • Let's start by cleaning house. A simple bill.

    Time to revisit Buckley v. Valeo.

    No private monies shall be accepted or allowed to fund political campaigns. National Senate and Congressional campaigns shall be funded by state monies. Amounts shall be decided on formulas decide by the amount of the population of each state. No external monies shall be allowed from a different state (i.e., each state shall fund their own campaigns). All television time shall be free, starting at a time specific before the vote date. The presidential campaign shall be funded similarly. Each presidential nominee, regardless of party affiliation, shall receive free television time during the primaries and each state shall fund the vote for each of the candidates. The two candidates with the most primary popular votes shall go on to a nation-wide election and they shall be elected by popular vote.
