  • Professor Cole, your over-use of quotations marks (e.g., "state secrets," "war on terror") tends to take away from your arguments. If you don't think that there are such things as "state secrets," if there is a "war on terror," or even if there is something called "terror"--maybe you can do some real research outside of Washington. There are terrorists who want to kill you and all Americans. I know that you are probably disappointed that President Obama, his new Justice Department and others have agreed with former President Bush on some key national security issues. Maybe Bush wasn't as stupid as you thought, and maybe you're not so smart after all.
