I dont get the argument at all. The author is assuming that just because Indians are obsessed over fair skin, that makes them racist. Preference for a skin color is a lot more complex subject then what is coming out in this article. A major factor is the human desire to possess attributes that they lack.

By the same argument, people in the UK are also racist because they want to tan their skin all the time. It's a joke, this article.
