  • Hey, American guys! There is a full-blown crisis gripping Canada's government that you might want to check out. Our right-wing Prime Minister has "prorogued" Parliament until late January. That's old school British parliamentary talk for shutting down our MPs. The Prime Minister was going to go down on a non-confidence vote, so he just sent all our elected representatives home for eight weeks! Pay attention! Canada is turning into a banana republic because of a bunch of our homegrown neocon freaks! What would you do if President Bush just told Congress to f off for eight weeks?!?! This is what we're living right now. Thought you might want to know.
