  • When "our politicians" and others talk about cutting Medicare and Medicaid, most see Medicaid as only for those on welfare (and they abuse it, don't they?). Please ask them about our elderly relatives.

    Medicare does not pay for nursing homes, that comes out of our elderly's pockets--and when that is all gone, they have to apply for Medicaid and they have to apply for a Medicaid bed!

    It's already getting harder and harder to find a doctor that will accept Medicare or Medicaid patients because of low and slow payouts.

    Medicaid beds at nursing homes are becoming less available. And considering what's happened to alot of retirees' investments this year, what are we going to do with all the baby boomers coming up who can't stay at home?
