  • I'm afraid we've already experienced the "time horizon."

    There's no impeachment to save the troops, and there's no draft to allow active-duty, in-the-war zone soldiers so little as a respite. According to Barack Obama, this is the way things should be: a war running smoothly, right through the next election, and with just the right numbers of good guys and bad guys doing the fighting.

    Obama's good fortune is like another Bush-type coincidence.

    There's no way Dem leadership can say they didn't "fix" this wartime election, when clearly it's the case about them that they've fixed the deaths (and so the outcome) of the war.
