  • And they're still at it. Yesterday ( 6-17) I overheard a report from CNN journalist Michael Ware from Iraq. He was commenting on Obama's proposed visit there prior to the election. Ware said that "there is little Iraqi support for an immediate American withdrawal." This of course contradicts what every reliable poll on the street says--that Iraqis by an overwhelming majority want America leaving, today. But this is just the kind of distortion of reality that continues to shape American public opinion. And why an imperialist neocon like John McCain may very well be our next President.

  • Thank you much. As a 70-year-old retiree, it is hard to find a "journalist" who is truly devoted to truth. They all seem to be pimping for a special interest of some sort. During one of his shows Chris Matthews shut down one of his guests for calling Bush an " idiot" because of the speech he, Bush, gave in Israel. The entire media went bullistic when Fete Stark made his little speech about Bush's arrogant war in Iraq.
