  • One corporate Democrat is one corporate Democrat too many in the Democratic Party. It will be very difficult to get rid of them because they have big money behind them. The Republican Party will have a tough time in this election, so corporate interests are looking for more Democrats who are for sale. Contrast the 2008 election with the 2004 election. The debates in South Carolina in 2004 had all the candidates, big or small, participating. Ideas were discussed, and ordinary people were a part of the event. In 2008, the mainstream media were involved, and only the big three candidates who passed the corporate litmus test were allowed to debate. For progressives, there are two options! Clean up the Democratic Party, or start a new Progressive Democratic Party under that name!
