  • Well, big deal, I don't like Bush and have often said he was incompetent. The Saudis are only restating the obvious. My major concern about this deal was that it was intended to start a "cold war" between the Arab States and Iran. However, these States are engaging Iran through diplomacy, and a major conflict in the Middle East can be avoided. I can only hope they don't buy any worthless missile defense systems similar to those given to Israel and the E.U.

  • The Saudis love using the Bush family at the expense of the American people, but how about the nerve of the Wall Street Journal. If all you had to go by was their editorial page for the past seven years, you would have thought that Bush was the reincarnation of Alexander Hamilton--they just couldn't get enough of those tax cuts to the wealthy, deregulation of the financial markets and cuts in social programs. Now all of a sudden he's a bum. Talk about ungrateful.
