  • Sounds like Ernie tried a play from the Dubya book (the pardons and all). Perhaps he didn't realize that antiwar and anti-BS sentiment would be on the rise in poorer, more rural states that get progressively dumped on by the administration they put in power.

  • Even though the good people of Kentucky rid themselves of a worthless incumbent, by no means are they are going to let their conservative ways take a back seat to a perceived progressive agenda. Please note: here in the South, both Republicans and Democrats are conservatives.
