  • A small quote from Ms Clinton regarding Senator Feingold's efforts a campaign finance reform for Mr. Harris to keep in mind: "Russ live in the real world."

  • Well articulated. The Clintons have shown time and again that they lack any principle when it comes to raising money. From selling access to the White House, to Lincoln Bedroom sleep-overs, to plots in Arlington Cemetery etc. Fundraisers include a long line of convicted felons--Johnny Chung, Charlie Trie, James Riady and others. But they are incredibly fortunate--no amount of facts will dissuade their apologists. History predicts that not only will Mrs. Clinton have large amounts of illegal money flow into race, it will be a hallmark of her presidency.

  • Politics ain't beanbag in the deeply corrupt system of financing American politics. This depiction of Clinton as Ms. Goldfinger is another piece of grotesque overstatement from a fully paid-up member of the anti-Hillary camp. All the old stuff is trotted out despite the fact that all of it has long been disproven or shown to be exaggerated. Then she is excoriated for pulling more loot this last quarter even though much the same folks were dancing on her grave because she slightly underperformed Obama in previous quarters.

I'm the first to admit that the American system for financing politics is deeply corrupt. Efforts to change it like McCain-Feingold, which Hillary has supported, have always been beaten back by principally the Republicans but, it must be said, with a little help from some Democratic backrooms. But the system is what it is. So she operates in it and because she blows everyone away in this most recent quarter she's responsible for the entire problem. Not only that, but according to the author she likes to shower in gold coins. Mr Hoffman needs to get over his obviously visceral dislike of this woman, who is almost certainly going to be theDemocratic standard bearer next year, or he'll be forced to vote for that noted ascetic and lily-white public servant Rudy Giuliani.

  • Thank you for the article exposing the continued greed and graft of the Clintons. Since I first heard of this ambitious couple they have been marked by scandal. All of this smoke and no fire? The reality is, they are criminals.

But the left always look the other way if it is one of their heroes. I have no doubt Bill/Hillary would be exonerated if they were found to be on the Kremlin or Bejing payrolls.

They can always claim it was for the children, or they were victims of a right-wing conspiracy.
