  • The only thing the US military controls is the ground they occupy. Nobody controls the Iraqi government, including the Iraqis. If anyone, on the left or right, tells you they can solve Iraqi's problems, they are blowing smoke or delusional. If they are lucky, maybe the Iraqis can figure it out. The US can only get out before it creates an even bigger mess.
