  • I hate Bush as much as the next guy, but can you please stop suggesting he is evil because of warrantless spying? As you correctly note in the article, Congress approved an *expansion* of the program. I'm disappointed in all of them.

  • Bush "depriving children of healthcare"? The last I saw, Bush was in favor of a $5 billion increase in the program, not a cut! This is a propagandistic distortion.

  • The lame duck metaphor doesn't fit Bush. He's more like a wounded she-bear: unpredictable, protective of his legacy and exceedingly dangerous.

  • I agree. Knowing the history of Bush, Cheney and the neoconservative mindset in general, there is no way that these people will go quietly. I fear the worst. I would not be shocked by an invasion of Iran in the very near future, or the possibility of a major terrorist attack. The more I look at these idealogues the more I am convinced that they looked the other way in the leadup to 9-11, or were even somehow involved themselves. Though the damage done by this Administration has been catastrophic, I still fear there are more horrors to come.
