  • Major Edmonds paints an interesting and detailed picture of his part in this lengthy war. I appreciate his article, the perspective it gave in a non-biased and truthful manner. I also appreciate the extremely tough job he is doing. He should be commended in his attempt to daily break the cultural lines in this hostile and very religious country, where there is no separation between church and state. He is a noble man, and I only hope there are more soldiers like him who respect the culture in which they are immersed.
