Orlando Letelier

Orlando Letelier was Chilean Ambassador to the United States and Minister of Foreign Affairs under President Salvador Allende. After the 1973 coup, Letelier moved to Washington, D.C., and became a senior fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies. He was assassinated in Washington on September 21, 1976.
