Eamonn McCann

Eamonn McCann, the author of War and an Irish Town (Pluto),
was a leader of the civil rights movement in Northern Ireland in the
1960s. Now a commentator and political activist, he is working on a book
about the massacre in Derry of civil rights marchers by British
paratroopers on Bloody Sunday in January 1972. He is vice chairman of
the Derry Trades Union Council.
