Thank you for this. In the midst of a lot of chatter about the Seltzer story, I'm particularly interested in this one. Seltzer's been quoted as saying that she wanted to give "voice to the voiceless"--an expression I've long loathed for its presumption of speaking for others, rather than creating spaces for them to speak for themselves and, most of all, listening.
