With all deliberate speed

The above phrase, from Brown v. Topeka, became a couple decades of long, drawn-out hassles. The withdrawal from Afghanistan could be done at the rate of a hundred soldiers per month. Since we will need to support democratic-oriented forces for a loooonnnngg time, as shown by the blasts yesterday in Uganda, I have every hope that Obama will show the same promptness in withdrawal that he has done with shutting down Guanánamo in January, more than half a year ago. Like it or not, it is still the Global War on Terror, until they decide not to attack us any more.
