This is an excellent article, and gives us an idea of the mindset of the various groups in Iran. This is the kind of information leaders need before negotiations and making policy decisions.
I can see why the effective "Green Wave" campaign would make Mesbah Yazdi and other conservatives nervous. While I share his belief that the colored revolutions in the Russian sphere of influence and Lebanon had foreign influences, I have no suspicions that the opposition candidates in this election had any connections with foreigners. It is my impression that all Iranians believe they have a right to nuclear power, and I rather doubt any Iranian government would compromise Iranian nuclear "rights." Negotiations between the Western governments and Iran will be tough regardless of the Iranian government in power.
Change is the only certainty, but Islam is strong enough that it will survive and prosper. Never negotiate from fear, but never fear to negotiate!
