India is, indeed, likely to rise in the next generation. But my calculations are that China is going to be in an absolutely terrible position, unless some major reforms happen in its way of dealing with problems.
The imbalance in sex by births that the "one-child" policy created is only one of several huge and relatively insoluble dilemmas that Beijing faces.
It would take pages to detail it all, but I do not accept the report's conclusions.
