The article focuses on how Paul Bremer, the U.S.-appointed governor of Iraq during the American-Anglo invasion of the country, has turned the war into a business opportunity that would benefit U.S. multinational business enterprises. Bremer did not allow Iraqis to select an interim government and declared that the country was open for trade before the dinar was stabilized and before local factories can be repaired, causing imported goods to enter the borders and pushing many businesses into bankruptcy.
