The article focuses on the process of reflection and planning being undergone by the peace movement in the United States with regard to its next step in the American invasion of Iraq. The movement is reportedly evaluating its role and responsibilities in the war and exploring the appropriate targets of protest. It is also determining the connections between war abroad and the attack on civil liberties and social injustices at home as well as the vision of a better world that the movement can offer.
