This article highlights the need for U.S. to create a program that will advance energy sufficiency and promote renewable energy. Wind and solar are some of the most important sources of renewable energy. It explains that the investments in technology and public infrastructure would create millions of jobs and offer economic stimulus. It discusses the role of U.S. President George W. Bush in the creation of jobs in the manufacturing industry and the private-sector. And it is good for the Bush administration that voters support federal programs that promote energy independence.
